Dear Patients & Friends,

I started Fairview Chiropractic Center twenty years ago with a dream, a prayer, a little money and a lot of help and encouragement from my awesome wife and family. Since then the roads, neighborhoods, shopping centers and schools have grown and diversified. Over these years, our focus at Fairview Chiropractic Center has remained unchanged; we recognize that each patient has their own unique problems and concerns and we strive to give personal, specialized care to each one. That tradition will never change at Fairview Chiropractic Center.

With fond memories of the past and eager expectations for the future, I am writing to inform you that I am leaving the practice. In fact, I am moving out of state so that I may be closer to family. My wife and I have decided that as we, our parents and siblings age, we should be closer to each other. Since they have all migrated to the Carolinas and north, it seems practical for us to go there instead of relocating everyone else here.

Perhaps selfishly, I consider all of you my extended family. Births and deaths, marriages and divorces, economic busts and booms, war and peace; these and innumerable other events are what we have shared. These are the things that make up our lives and insidiously, impact our wellbeing and health. I have never taken lightly the fact that you have entrusted me with something as precious as your health. I am humbled by that charge and I will forever treasure the two decades of laughter and tears we have shared.

As I said, the traditions that have made Fairview Chiropractic Center a place for quality health care will continue. Maintaining the traditions of Fairview Chiropractic will be a fine practitioner, Dr. Patrick Oster. "Dr. O" has an impressive resume including twenty years of Air Force service and twenty years in private chiropractic practice in Augusta, GA. His clinical knowledge and expertise combined with his sincere, approachable demeanor will help ensure the continued quality care at Fairview Chiropractic Center.

Lastly, I would like to thank my awesome staff; the ones who make me look good. Raney is the most capable and caring massage therapist that I have ever known. AJ has filled the spot as utility man with ease and confidence. Betty White has been my trustworthy employee and steadfast friend for nearly twenty years. She is the 'Radar O'Reilly' of Fairview Chiropractic Center, seemingly one step ahead of everyone else here. She has been and will continue to be an invaluable asset to Fairview Chiropractic Center. I will miss her at my new office.

The "going" is easy the "leaving" is difficult. Thank you to each one of you for allowing me to serve you.
